Cary’s Park Station Set to Break Ground

Underfoot Engineering is partnering with Raleigh-based developer Envision Homes to build an upscale, 30-unit townhome community in downtown Cary. The townhomes, called Park Station, sit on 2 acres at 115 E. Park St. and will overlook the future Downtown Cary Park, scheduled to open in 2022.

Underfoot is providing comprehensive consulting services for the project, including planning, civil and landscape architecture design, permitting, and construction administration services.

“We’ve got a great opportunity to make a huge impact with this project,” said Landon Lovelace, president at Underfoot. “With the urban renewal that is beginning to happen in downtown Cary, and the proximity to Downtown Cary Park, we feel like this project will be a landmark for generations to admire and will help frame the backdrop of the park and all of the development that is coming to that critical corner of downtown.”

Triangle Business Journal reported that the townhomes are set to break ground in the coming weeks, and that six homes have been sold ahead of the groundbreaking ceremony.

Park Station details:

  • Starting at $675,000
  • 2,500 square feet
  • Three stories with rooftop terrace
  • Two-car garage
  • Large working pantry
  • Optional elevator
  • 10 hours with Cary-based interior design firm Southern Studio
