New Cary Homes on Ridgefield Farms Property

Underfoot Engineering is partnering with Ashton Woods Homes and Arizona-based Taylor Morrison to design a subdivision for 144 new homes at Ridgefield Farms in Cary.

“Underfoot has a great opportunity here with this community,” says Landon Lovelace, President at Underfoot Engineering. “The design respects and maintains thousands of feet of stream buffers and numerous Champion Trees, and integrates five well-landscaped stormwater control measures into the fabric of the neighborhood. Additionally, the community provides a community gathering area and internal private trails that promote an active lifestyle and community cohesion. This will be another great community in the very vibrant Northwest Cary.”

Ridgefield Farms is a mostly rural area, with the property coming from a group of 10 neighbors on both sides of Ridgefield Drive in Cary who came together to sell their homes and properties for $14 million.

The land includes about 90 acres in a recently popular area for development, sitting east of Green Level Church Road at the intersection with McCrimmon Parkway in Cary.

The homes are expected to be single-family, estate-style homes starting at above $600,000.

Site development will begin in fall 2016, with the new homes under construction by summer 2017.
